Terms of Service

1. The deal

These terms are an agreement between you and Huka covering the Huka app and huka.co.zw. By creating an account you accept them. If you don't agree, don't use Huka, though we'd be sad to see you go.

2. Who can use Huka

• You must be 16 or older. No exceptions, no "almost".
• You must be legally able to enter this agreement.
• You must not have been previously removed from Huka for breaking these terms.

3. Your account

• Be you. One account, your real details, your own photos.
• Verification with valid ID may be required to unlock features like liking and connecting.
• You're responsible for keeping your login secure.

4. The house rules

Huka works because people behave. Don't:

• Harass, threaten, stalk or abuse anyone, in chat or in person.
• Post content that's illegal, hateful, explicit without consent, or involves anyone under 16.
• Impersonate people, catfish, or run romance scams.
• Use Huka for commercial solicitation, advertising or spam.
• Try to hack, scrape, reverse-engineer or automate the platform.

Break the rules and we may remove content, suspend or permanently ban your account, without a refund of unused points or purchases.

5. Points, likes & boosts

• Some features run on points, purchased in the app via our payment partner or earned through promotions and referrals.
• Points, likes and boosts are licensed to you for use in Huka. They have no cash value, aren't transferable, and can't be exchanged or withdrawn.
• Purchases are final except where the law says otherwise. If something goes wrong with a purchase, contact support@huka.co.zw and we'll make it right.

6. Content

You own what you post. By posting it on Huka you give us a license to host and display it so the service can work (e.g. showing your profile to people nearby). We can remove content that breaks these terms. We also filter images automatically.

7. Safety

• We verify profiles and moderate reports, but we can't guarantee anyone is who they say they are. Trust your instincts.
• Meet in public first. Tell a friend. Arrange your own transport.
• Never send money to someone you met on a dating app. Ever.
• Use block and report, that's what they're for.

8. Ending things

You can delete your account anytime in Settings (see the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data). We can suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms or put the community at risk.

9. The legal fine print

Huka is provided "as is". To the maximum extent the law allows, we're not liable for the conduct of users on or off the platform, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months. These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe, and disputes belong to the courts of Zimbabwe.

10. Changes

We may update these terms as Huka evolves. For meaningful changes we'll notify you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Huka after that means you accept the update.
